Full Job Description:

Manage three egg production divisions and four company hatcheries.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all three egg production divisions and four company hatcheries. Develop and oversee the implementation of processes, strategies and programs to manage and maintain all eggs and hatchery costs compared to industry results. Oversee and improve processes, strategies and programs to manage and improve three-day mortality on all company poults placed on company farms versus plan and prior year. Maintain a safe working environment by meeting established safety goals. Establish the culture and monitoring systems necessary to prevent animal handling or animal welfare concerns. Develop a method to identify key priorities for specialists and hold them accountable for defining key actions for farms to implement to achieve improved results. Continue training and encouraging all team members the daily execution of JOTS cultural beliefs.

Experience Needed / Suggested:

QUALIFICATIONS: Required 5+ years of experience in animal husbandry. A strong track record of safety experience and results in the poultry industry. Inspirational leadership supported with a strong set of soft skills and positive attitude; ability to rally their team to deliver superior results. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change. Strong problem-solving, analytical, & communication/influencing skills Significant people management and financial analytics experience. Extensive travel within MN and WI to visit all locations frequently. Excellent organizational skills. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. Preferred A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred. Strong computer skills and experience using relevant barn management programs.
