Ashley Klaphake

Ashley Klaphake married into the turkey business, but grew up on a dairy farm. In 2017, her and husband Jon took over operations at Meadowlark Turkeys LLC from Jon’s dad Glen. They are a third generation family farm raising 260,000 turkeys a year which equates to about 3.6 million pounds per year.

Jon has been raising birds for most of his life. Now with Ashley, they raise a combination of light hens and heavy hens with growth ranging between 13 to 17 ½ weeks of age. Ashley does everything from brooding and performing administrative management tasks for the business.

Ashley and Jon have a partnership with Jennie-O Turkey Store as independent growers. They are proud contributors who help feed families all over the states. They take great pride in growing high quality turkey and carrying on a family legacy in hopes to pass along for years to come.

Ashely and Jon have two children. Daughter Faith is seven and son Eddie is five years old.
