Capitol Reports are a summary of what is happening at the Minnesota Legislature and are provided by MTGA Lobbyist, Bruce Kleven. Capitol Reports are a benefit for paid MTGA members.
Bruce Kleven, Kleven Law Office, has been MTGA's lobbyist for more than 27 years. Mr. Kleven is MTGA's eyes and ears at the State Capitol; keeping members informed on issues important to the Minnesota turkey industry.
His professional areas of focus include:
Mr. Kleven is a native of west-central Minnesota where his family of fifth-generation farmers emigrated from Norway in the 1870s. He grew up working on the family farm, which produces sugar beets, soybeans, and corn. He currently lives in the Twin Cities with his family.
