Turkey and Stuffing Waffles

Not only is this a great twist on a southern staple, it's also a excellent way to reuse those thanksgiving leftovers or roast a turkey breast just for this.

  • Waffle Iron
  • Bowl
  • Sauce Pan

·     Syrup

o  5 tablespoons butter

o  ½ cup cranberry sauce

o  2 tbsp pure maple syrup

·     Waffles

o  3 cups cooked stuffing

o  2 eggs

o  3 tbsp chicken broth

o  ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

·     Turkey

o  Cooked turkey breast or tenderloins sliced

Directions

1.    Prepare the syrup by combining the butter,cranberry sauce and maple syrup in a pan. Stir until butter is melted andeverything is combined. Keep warm for serving.

2.    To make the waffles, crumble the stuffing intosmall pieces. Mix in the eggs, chicken broth and parmesan cheese. Preheat the wafflemaker and butter well. Add waffle batter and cook until brown and crispy. Mayneed to butter the waffle maker between waffles.

3.    Serve by put two slices of cooked turkey on awaffle and top with the syrup.
