Barry Koppen is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn. with a degree in Financial Economics. Koppen has spent the last ten years working in the poultry industry. Prior to joining KSI, Koppen worked for Purina Animal Nutrition as an Associate Sales Manager on the National Poultry Team. At Purina, Koppen worked with poultry producers across the country educating them on feed additives, nutrition, and best management practices to maximize system-wide efficiencies.
Koppen also worked for Jennie-O Turkey Store as a Live Production Supervisor. Koppen’s experience focused on growing his knowledge of integrated poultry systems while also building a successful production area.
Barry has been married to his wife Megan for four years with their Weimaraner Red. In his free time, Koppen enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
